When Athena Collections was founded, our management wanted to ensure from the outset that our ethos and values put our customers at the forefront of any decision making process.
‘A satisfied customer is the best business strategy of all.’ – Michael Leboeuf – this struck a chord with our management having experienced the different standards in the industry which has subsequently led to form our company values.
Our company values are:
(A) Aspiring – To be the best at everything we do, with integrity at all times.
(T) Transparent – To always be open and honest with all our communications regardless of the consequences.
(H) Hardworking – Always working collectively as a team to the best of our capabilities to provide a best-in-class service.
(E) Ethical – Knowing the difference between what we have a right to do and the right thing to do but always choosing the latter.
(N) Noble - Quality begins and ends with the customer and we strive to always exceed their expectations. It takes years to build a reputation but only moments to ruin it.
(A) Adaptable – To be able to quickly change and fulfil the needs of our employees, customers and regulators.
This is also underpinned by our Mission Statement:
To recover money that is rightfully owed to our clients by providing the same advice that we would give to ourselves if we were in a similar situation and always exceeding our clients and regulators expectations.
Our company values have kept us in good stead and it has allowed us to grow as a business whilst maintaining a high client retention rate. We view this as the snowball effect, i.e. knowing that approximately half of all new clients will eventually end up being a repeat customer for life therefore taking away the stress of trying to continuously get new clients due to a high burn rate that other Debt Collection Agencies may experience. It is not hard to see for oneself that this strategy whilst very simplistic, is difficult to achieve on a consistent basis and something that we are very proud of. Ultimately it means that assuming our standards do not slip then our continued growth will be organic.
If you are not receiving the service or treatment, you would expect then we would welcome the opportunity to benchmark ourselves against your current supplier.
